As our video is going to revolve mainly around Horizons and involves a lot of outdoor scenes we will need to be considering times in which the light will create the right tone for what we are trying to produce. We are going to be using mainly natural light as we want to create that grunge effect like for example in the Arctic Monkeys video "When the Sun Goes Down."
We will be filming mostly in the afternoon as this is when I feel the lighting will be at it's best. We will also need to find out the times of when the sun sets as this will be crucial for one of our main scenes as well as our digipak cover and magazine advertisement.
We will need to use some of the settings such as the white balance on the camera to help get the right light as this will make it much brighter and clearer yet still enable us to create that grunge look.
