Treatment

Working Title

Our Working Title will be "Horizons Forgetting Gravity Project"

This title has been chosen as it is fairly memorable and straight to the point.
Format

Our format will be for the main product - a music video - will be digitally filmed and then edited on iMovie which will be good for this type of work.

For my ancillary products I will use Corel Paintshop Pro as I find it has some good tools in which to manipulate images. I will also consider using photoshop to help progress my ideas.

Synopsis

Our song choice is of the electro-rock sub genre of dance music and therefore we are going to interpret that in our video. We are going to have to consider the fashion trends of the people related to this genre of music. The general outline of our music video will follow someone on their way to a Forgetting Gravity gig. There will be a clash of reality and non-reality in the video which will question representation and stereotypes.
The ancillary texts will relate to the music video with the front cover and main image being featured with the videoas it is common within album releases and will help tie everything in as a whole.

Rationale

I feel this will be easy to do as we already have an idea of some of the locations which is key to getting the video right. We also have the bands permission in order to both use their song and themselves within the video so we are ready to start as soon as possible.

Resources Required

Alex - in my group - has an Apple computer so we are able to use the software on there aswell as being able to use the facilities at college.

Budget

We will not need a huge budgets as we will already have some things at home in which we can use as well as the college providing some facilities.

Deadlines

Our deadlines are already listed but we will also make our own individual deadlines if we find it neccassary.
